More than a year had passed since the last successful line of Emperadores had established itself. In between, a "ghost line" [a "pledge class" in which NO candidates succeed in becoming brothers] occurred and becoming a brother seemed increasingly difficult. Algene Soliman defied the odds, stayed strong, and became the only pledge from his line to "cross over" successfully and become a brother of the Emperadores Chapter.
