LSU at Kean University -
Community Service!

The Brothers of the Emperadores Chapter of Lambda Sigma Upsilon Latino Fraternity, Incorporated strongly believe that it is our duty to assist those less fortunate by providing as much manpower as possible to communities and organizations who find themselves in need of such help. Our brothers have come to realize that we are very fortunate to be receiving a college education and that it is incumbent upon us to "give back" by setting up educational workshops and by participating wholeheartedly in service projects designed to feed, shelter, or otherwise aid those less fortunate than ourselves. Listed below are just a few of the programs in which we have already participated:
  • Hillside Food Bank

  • Adopt-A-Highway

  • Englewood Home of Retired Entertainers

  • Passaic High School Mentorship Program

  • Positive Latino Association (PLA)

If you'd like to recommend that our brothers participate in a program not listed here, please e-mail pertinent information to Lenny Martinez.

Being an LSU brother is not just about "wearing letters" nor is it about partying and hanging out. Our brothers work together to make positive differences in surrounding communities by contributing manpower to key groups & organizations.

If you are involved with -- or if you know of -- an organization in need of our assistance, please let us know! Include detailed information in your e-mail!
