Emperadores Chapter -
Frequently asked questions
(and answers!)...(Page 4 of 4)

Are there any dues to pay?
The brothers of Lambda Sigma Upsilon generally come from humble backgrounds and do not have much money to "throw around." While active brothers do contribute whatever they can in the form of VERY low monthly
"dues," we do not "pay to be friends." Our brotherhood is both genuine and lifelong whether or not dues are paid!

What responsibilities do brothers have?
Active brothers are bound to each other by the goals and principles set forth during the pledge process. Generally, they are also responsible for participating in periodic meetings, community service, and other activities on campus.

What lasting involvement do
brothers have after college?

Alumni literally maintain their own "sub-chapter..." They hold meetings, frequently visit (and assist) undergraduates, and enjoy a number of disparate functions. Most importantly, however, they continue to benefit from the lifelong friendships and the brotherhood bond first created when they pledged. If you attend an Emperadores "Rum Salsa Information Session" you are likely to see more dedicated ALUMNI come to support the chapter than you would at similar meetings for any other Greek organization on campus.
