Becoming an LSU brother at Kean
University...
Obviously, space does not permit a full description of the path to
brotherhood. All men interested in joining our organization are
cautioned that pledging to Lambda Sigma Upsilon is a difficult and
tedious process. But for every difficult endeavor there are, of course,
great rewards.
While pledging, you will be assigned a "cacique" ["chief" or
"leader"] who will help guide you through the entire experience --
working hard to ensure that you maintain excellent study skills, high
grades, plenty of rest, and attend to your family & work-related
responsibilities as priorities over LSU-related activities. Your
regular "social time," however, will be used up completely & replaced by
the process.
